Work with Client Finance Systems Architect and Functional Architect to understand the existing systems from both functional and technical front to assist with effective and efficient Oracle NetSuite ERP solutions that can scale up as the organization evolves.
Work with the Client Finance Systems Business Stakeholders in understanding the functional requirements.
Prepare and conduct requirement analysis with the skills and knowledge in ERP, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash from a business front coupled with technical knowledge, experience and expertise to configure/customize Oracle NetSuite ERP to meet the business needs.
Review the business requirements/use cases, consult, solution and conduct technical design sessions for projects requiring customization outside of Oracle NetSuite ERP native functionality.
Key resource for the project to ensure design, development, verification and validation of Oracle NetSuite ERP centric projects before handing over the product to the business stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing.
Recommend Oracle NetSuite ERP solutions considering performance, longevity and adaptability for future enhancements and business scalability.
Setup, configure and customize Oracle NetSuite ERP based on the business needs by creating custom forms, custom fields, custom records, custom scripts using SuiteScript v1.0/v2.0 API and SuiteFlows.
Work closely with Client finance team across globe to conduct sessions/demos with the business stakeholders on the committed deliverables to meet business requirements to make sure the day to day business runs smoothly.
Work with other product teams in the company that integrates with Oracle NetSuite ERP via Web services and RESTlets to make sure the integrations are up and running daily and the relevant data exchange between systems are not interrupted.
Consult, solution and re-design existing integrations that requires changes due to other system limitations/performance. Perform verification of requests that hits the web service layer in the lower environments using either Postman or via NetSuite Sandbox to make sure the data's that are transmitted between source and target comply with business requirements and processes.
Support the day to day finance business needs by creating custom dashboards, saved searches and reports on demand basis to get the business running.
Monitor the system health and take appropriate measures to keep the system running during the business hours across globe.
Triage NetSuite IT Operations tickets and come up with a priority to make sure the business across globe is not impacted.
Perform Root Cause Analysis on Oracle NetSuite ERP production system issues, identify the root cause, put in a permanent fix, perform system testing in a non-prod instance that is closer to production to make sure the fix did not impact other touchpoints within Oracle NetSuite ERP and deploy the changes to production to keep the system running for the business users across globe on a day to day basis.
Create pivots, design and build small utilities using Excel VBA on a need basis for quick data level validations.
Train the business users on Oracle NetSuite ERP whenever a new standard feature as part of the bi-yearly upgrades or a customized feature is introduced to the production system.
Providing Project Status and defect reports to Client Product and Project Managers.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, relevant engineering (computer engineering, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related), or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
